Following the success of my recent deal for tossers with Point Two air jackets I had a lovely chat with Louise, co-owner of Fuel Exhausts at motorcycle live today regarding a possible tossers discount.

Fuel are a small, 4 person family run business located in the Lake district producing hand made cans for a variety of bikes. They offer carbon, titanium, stainless steel and black stainless steel exhausts currently in a variety of designs.

They are going to produce a GS adapter for their exhausts and need a willing tosser to leave a GS with them for a couple of days to get the adapter made up, which will result in a hefty discount for said tossers shiny new exhaust.

For the rest of us Louise is interested in offering us a discount (I'm hoping to negotiate 20% but time will tell...) dependent on the level of interest shown.

If you're in the market for a new can, and may be interested, then please post on here and/or drop me a line with a contact email address, and once I've got 10 or so (hopefully..) I will get the ball rolling and see what I can come up with.

I ordered a Carbon Diablo oval midi with a black bracket earlier today at the MCL show having heard the videos and seen some fantastic writeups from owners.:D

I'm in Preston and have a 2000 model 1150 they could borrow. Which model were you looking for?

Hi,

I would be interested in an end can (mine's a 2014 LC).
I've had a few from them over the years on my other bikes and was disappointed to find they didn't do one for the GS.

Andy

I'll add it on to the list and check with Louise..thanks.

I forgot to mention that Dynojet used my 1150 a few years ago as a testbed for the Powercommander they brought out. I left it with them for a couple of weeks while they fitted the PC3 and did some dyno runs to map out the fuelling and make improvements. I did a follow up report which was published on here.

I've got a GS800 and only live 20 miles away, don't need a new can but had bought a fuel can for my transalp, if they want to borrow mine to do one they can.

Cheers Hoggy but they've already got F800GS cans on the website. I think it's just the 1200s and older models they are looking for.

Loan of bike

I've got a LC 2013, living in Kendal which is where they are if you would like me to 'loan' my bike to them?

Thanks chaps...pm's incoming to the LC owners who have offered so far.

Also looking for the following models to pattern up... Again looking to loan for a couple of days in return for a (sizeable) discount on a new can...

K1600 GT

K1300 R

R1200 GS Adventure (twincam)

F800 GT

R1200 R

F650 GS

GS1200

Looking for an LC Adventure as well... I appreciate it should be the same as the non-adventure but worth checking..

I've just bought a new (almost) GS and will start looking for a replacement end can soon I'm sure.

I like the look of the Fuel carbon fibre Diablo :)

That's exactly what I've just ordered. A midi carbon oval Diablo for my KTM. Looked lovely at MCL at the NEC

I have a 2011 R1200 GSA I could lend for a few days. I am in Garstang, about 20miles away from Kendal.

I'm interested in a can for my F800GS (2012) - had a Fuel can on my old VFR800 and they're great price/quality combo and a nice bunch of people to deal with.

If you chaps could email [email protected], say that James Shepard sent you and you're on the UKGSER forum I can sort something out for you.

The whole range is available for F800GS now and is on the website so have a look and see which one you fancy and indicate which one you're after when you talk to Louise.

I've ordered an oval carbon Diablo midi for my KTM 1190 having seen them at the show. It did look very nicely put together. Quite a few KTM chaps on Advrider are swapping wings cans for F1R exhausts apparently.

Hi,

I see Fuel have finally got the r1200gs lc range of exhausts on their web-site, does the above apply too ?

Thanks

Yup. I believe Louise was offering a 5% discount for tossers. Give her a buzz and check and say I sent you from the forum
