Fuel filters?

Apart from the filters on the fuel taps I don't have any on my bike. Should I put some on? What do you recommend?
Are these worth it or not?

I tried a few different types when I was suffering from carb flooding. The Motorworks filters were the only ones that stopped the grit getting to to the carbs. Approx £3.50 each.

The glass ones are to heavy IMHO unless cable tied to something ! Go the plastic route..cheaper and throw away every couple of years

I have this one, It's OK but preferred the Pingle & fitted it instead. Not sure if the glass is Pyrex..
