Fuel Gauge Problems

I have a problem which has just started on my 1200GS. With a full tank of fuel the petrol gauge is varying between reading FULL or HALF FULL! The tank is filled to the brim!

It used to stay on full until about 100-120miles then drop to half so I know a problem has developed.

Is there a similar connector problem for the 1200GS?

Yes. Got mine changed yesterday.

Same happened here after changing everything else fuel pump/guage cured the problem.

They usually try first to bend the gauge system in the tanks and clean some circuit under the tank. Sorry my english is not good enough to be technically precise.
It works but not for long. The second time you have the problem, they usually change the whole thing, pump included.
