fuel gauge?

The fuel gauge on my GS1200 '08 is playing up. It seems fine until half tank (and 90 to 110 miles) then drops straight to minimum with fuel indicator light on, etc. When refuelling I can only get 12 to 13 litres in. Has anyone experienced this? The bike is off to the dealer Saturday for the first service and will ask them to look at this too. Cheers - Hugo

Common problem and use the search button to see how many threads have already been Your dealer should be able to sort it no bother.

The thing to do is use your trip meter as a back up so you`ll know if the guage is telling you porkies

Thanks. Just spoke to the dealer and they reckon it is a software problem and in theory easily rectifiable.
I need to get to grips with the search facility - I'll get there... Thanks again
