Fuel leak

Started the bike yesterday after 1 weeks lay up and fuel was pumping from one of the pipe joints above the right hand cylinder.Switched on and of a few times but still the same.On my last attempt before phoning my dealership it writed itself and was fine.Could this have been a stuck one way valve for the return fuel pipe to the tank.Anyone familiar with this or is it a one off?.

No, it's not a one-off. The culprits are the cheap crimp hose clips fitted at the factory. Go and get your dealer to fit jubilee style hose clips and, while they're about it, quick disconnects (if not already fitted). they shouldn't charge you for this, as it's a well known fault.... (you don't say whether your bike is under warranty??)

While yer at it, get yorself a handfull of the O rings that the QR use [5/16" I think], as I have just had me tank off to fit a snorkel and noticed a nick in one of em
