Fuel line clamps/clips

I am in the process of fitting brass quick disconnects to my GSA and have come to a halt very quickly. Whats the process for removing the press fit fuel line clamps fitted to the original lines?? I am aware that you can use "nips" to undo and reuse the clamps on the internal filter lines(I have just done this) but these clips dont undo, you just end up crushing them tighter.They are also as hard as whores heart, do I just break out the angle grinder?? Thanks.

Ok,I worked it out, just use a small center punch and push it thru the crimp to open it up, and then crimp again with the nips, simple. There still a bastard of an idea!!
