Fuel link pipe 1150 GSA

Hello all.
A small query.
I have noticed that the fuel pipe that goes under my GSA 1150 tank to link both sides rests slightly on the top part of the engine. This obviously becomes quite hot at times. Is this normal or am I liable to be engulfed in a fireball the next time i ride my bike?
