I've just moved to Devon and on my first outing, bike would not start. Turnover was keener than a flat battery, so called out BMW Assist. After 2 hours on Friday afternoon, the diagnosis was the fuel pump was not responding to the signal to pump. Bike collected by SOS this morning to go to Ocean BMW, who confirmed it was the fuel pump electronics. Bike has just been returned.
I guess thats this years extended warranty paid for...
The only disappointing piece is that i would not get a replacement bike, but a car for 2 days. Ocean wanted £18/day to use their bikes.
