It took me over an hour, lots of penetrating fluid and some gentle tightening / loosing of the nuts that hold the fuel pump plate to the tank. But I managed to free them all off
. I also put a cut through the flat of an M5 nut, with a hacksaw and used it to clean the exposed threads up on the studs.
The question is, is it worth replacing the nuts with some brass ones or just some new steel nuts, washers and spring washers ?
