Fuel Strip or other issue.

Kill switch not active
Keys in and on
Lights are on, on the dash
Yellow warning light for fuel is on due to the failed strip - plenty of fuel in the tank
Press the ignition and a click is heard but absolutely nothing else
Certainly no engine activity at all

You mention an FPC???

Ring antenna???

Fpc. = Fuel pump controller. Look it up.
Ring antenna=. Should show a warning on dash if it's failed. Ews?? Maybe. Can't remember exactly and I'm on a ferry at the mo.

No other warning on the dash than the yellow triangle for (I assume) the fuel strip failure as it was present one week earlier when the fuel strip failed.
I'm guessing its the FPC (I looked it up )

I think I'll buy one and fit it to see if it's the failed item and if not keep it as a spare!

I've got a weeks leave and this happens!!!

OK so my fuel strip died again last week and now my bike won't start (even though it's on an optimate)........Connected issue or just bad luck
