Fuel tank dislocation

My fuel tank is offset to the left, about 10mm. I'm going to remove the tank and try to fix it, but I wonder if anyone else have the same "problem" and have come up with a solution?

You probably won't have to remove it, just loosen. There's a locating whatsit at the front on each side which the tank rests on.

Hmm, is it actually the fuel tank that's offset or just the cover?

You might be able to relocate the cover by using spacers or gently bending the mountings (of the metal part)/
