fuel, temp, gear indicator display

The fuel, temp and gear indicator display have stopped working on my 02 adv but clock still works fine. Ive checked fuses/connections which all look OK... has this happened to anyone else? Am I looking at big bucks for a replacement unit?

Have you recently washed it? Has there been water ingress to the connections?
