Greetings West Country GSer's

Looking for recommendations for a truly great full English breakfast on a route between Ilminster and Exeter.

All suggestions gratefully received.

Cheers

Annies

dont know about truly great, but we used to do pit stops en route to Cornwall at Annies in layby near Honiton on the 303 - left hand side when heading west.
If you're heading past Exeter, I have more recently found a verging on truly great cafe hidden from the A30 but there is a brown picnic/toilets sign again on the left westbound, at the bottom of a hill on the dual carriageway near Launceston, where there is a sign to Polyphant

Trip planned for 20 - 24 May, so soon. Cheers for suggestion Mike - not sure my belly will wait that far though ;o)

The one on the A303 4 miles east of Monkton, we used to use has changed hands in last couple of years but seems to be still well recommended..

The Cafe at Willoughby Hedge 4 miles west of Chicklade is still Number one of all the A303 roadside cafe stops :bow:bow:bow

Back track to Yeovil, Lynx Cafe on Lynx trading est opposite Wickes, they do a truckers breakfast for £5.25 with a Tea or Coffee and the owners are Bikers :augie
