full exhaust systems

Hi all, i'm on the look out for a full exhaust system for my 2010 gsa and was wondering if the Akrapovic was the best one? or how people have found Remus systems in comparison. I saw a full system on here and kicked myself that i hadn't seem it sooner . Your thoughts please, Thanks

The Akra full system is lovely and very expensive. It is also very loud and not road legal.

Personally, for the last 4 years i've been using Remus headers and Akra or Remus Silencer can combination on all my GS/GSA's.

I currently run Remus headers and Akra can with DB killer fitted. It gives a great performance improvement, and a fruity sound, but without being too loud.

If you want more midrange etc, why not get your ECU remapped, less than half the price of Remus and Akro and much better results, I went the exhaust way with my 08 GSA at a cost of £780, gave some gains but no where near as much as latest bike with remap!

The bike is better all round, even improved mpg as the fuel air ratio is properly adjusted.

See Hilltop Motorcycles post and look at dyno charts. Quite a few Tossers have gone this route, it works fullstop!

Might not quite as loud as your termy's on your Duc...but they are loud (in a nice way)

Hi i have that system twin shotguns on a 2010 gs and without baffles after awhile its too much tbh and i wear ear plugs id compare the sound to a 4stroke motox bike with a can it thumps, and so i made some baffles it still gives full power but not as loud, and ive also owned 999 with race termi's and travelled around europe on it and never once did i want to make it quiet its a totally different sound a duc is a pleasing sound and makes your heart race when on full chat, a gs with a full akro is like a ferguson massey with a blowing exhaust..

Holla, I have a full Akrapovic system for sale at the moment has only been on the bike for one month, it was fitted to my 2009 GSA, Akrapovic headers with BMW Akrapovic end can but I have just part exchanged my bike for a new one so this system is up for sale, my no is 07973 627042 give me a call if interested.
