Nice day......... so decided to run in the new clutch on the G/S with a spin in the Dales
Started off on the tarmac in Coverdale, between Middleham and Kettlewell
Then went over to Cracoe for the Yorkshire BMW club meet at the Village Hall (1st Sun of every month)
Very large turnout with about 30 bikes - great food (2 mugs of tea, a bacon roll and Jam Roly Poly & Custard for the princely sum of £3)
After lunch decided to go the 'Dirty Way Home'
Started off going over Stalling Busk to Stake Allotments (Cray to Marsett/Semerwater)
Which way @ Stake Allotments
(So many great trails - this ones about 6 miles and uninterrupted)
What a view
(In the Gods)
Taking a breather
Rocky road to Marsett (rocks the size of footballs
)
Marsett - with a backdrop of glorious Autumn colour
Down by the river
500 yds of flowing river to ride down
(Spout knows this one well
) I managed to stay dry and feet-up too
- just as well as I was alone
Another spectacular Dales view
So there you have it................just me, my G/S and my thoughts - alone in a superb part of England
