Hello there,
I dunno if I am putting this on the correct page...........:nenau
I have an 'old' (14 years) 650f funduro and am in need of a new rear tyre, has anyone got any sugestions as to which type of tyre is best for this old beast of mine?? (only goes on the road)
Also I would like to put a slightly more meaty exhaust on it, however have failed miserably on the net trying to find info on this sort of thing for my age of bike..........:blast
On top of all this, where would I find top box and paniers to fit my bike, the top box in the pic has seen better days, it let me put things into it, then very kindly wouldn't let me have them back......... spent ages messing with the locks etc. Is it the same fitment as the newer style bikes??

i had a remus on mine, it was loud though, but not too bad it did run a bit better, the engine seemed to run cooler with it on
tyres? just stick a decent road tyre on it, if you never venture off road,
tyres depend on what you want, mileage, or best grip?

Thank you for this, I will have a look on the net for them......:type

I think with th tyres I would be looking for grip over the miles as I don't go evs so far on it, just to work and the odd ride out etc...... I am yet to build up to the world adventures :)

hi annie

for tyres, if the front one has plenty of grip, and you are happy enough with them, get the same again for the rear then you only need to buy/fit one tyre

for the exhaust, if you go the f650.com faq's theres a heap of stuff there or google i guess. remus and scorpion do them, remus at motorworks for £220 quid

for luggage, not sure if the topbox is bmw or givi but ebay is a good starter for second hand ones or motorworks. its not the same as the 650GS though
