Now ya tell me!!!! Lol. The hugger was on the bike when I got it but it’s a genuine mudsling by the looks of it. Branding etc on it

Is it a Wunderlich or machine art moto mudslinger, and is the hugger a puig, trying to figure out what you have, its like pulling teeth out :blast
 
No bloody idea. It was on it when I got it... pic attached.....ah. The second one....and I don’t have a hugger. Typo from me earlier I meant mudsling
 
Well I have the Mudsling fitted to a brand new bike, never ridden in the rain or mud and the very next day I took it into Wales on a 300 mile round trip.

It was raining and throwing up all sorts of crap, mud etc.

I thought it protected the rear shock very well considering the weather that day. I didn't wipe anything down, or clean it up. I just took the pictures the next day to show the spray patterns and effectiveness of the mudsling and front fender extender.

Mine doesn't rub against anything in 7,500 miles of use. I have at least a 1cm gap between the mudsling and swing arm, no contacting. I've had Pillion and Full Luggage. No issues.

Yep. Mine was like that yesterday after a day of riding in the snow. Thanks for the mudsling links. Although mine was rubbing against the tyre so the thread pattern was giving a vibration feeling. All ok now thou. ��

99 euros as I am here in Germany, but I reckon only a few euros more posted to the UK, when I get mine, I will take a few pics, but basically it will be no different from the video, :thumby:
 
Mine does it too. Machine Art Mudsling. My tyre just catches sometimes, mainly when cornering. I'm sure the tyre deflects slightly and just catches. Nothing when it's removed.

Which tyre brand is catching on the mudsling?

I'm using standard Anakee 3 tyres and they don't catch.

I have read that certain tyres especially certain knobblys, are not advised with Mudslingers, read link below.

MudSling™ fits with BMW stock pannier mounts for both the GS and ADV, as well as Touratech Zega Pro and SW Motech. It does not fit with Hepco Becker, and Jesse Odessey II mounts.

MudSling™ fits with standard fitment street biased dual sport tires, like the Metzeler Tourance Next, Michelin Anakee, Continental Trail Attack and TKC-70 fit both the GS and GSA. On the standard GS, Mitas 07 knobbies do not fit. On GSA models Michelin Wild knobbies do fit. Other knobbies like TKC-80 and Hidenau 60 Scout do not fit.
