My GSA Panniers are getting furry, whats BMW's attitude to this? (yeah I know shouldnt take it out in the rain!!) I know they do engine covers when they are corroded what about these?:nenau

If I were you I really wouldn't worry about it. Give them a bit of a polish every now and again if you want. Bare aluminium will always do this, so even if you get a whole new set they'll do the same.

Pannier corrosion is a fact of life with bare alloy - it'll be viewed as normal wear and tear. If it bothers you, 1000 grade wire wool and solvol will bring them back nicely.

Or buy some Verns (hard anodised and corrosion free).

Not killing me just as i use all year looks a bit poo, Anyone found anything that holds back the corrossion?

i sprayed about 3 coats of spray clear car lacquer over mine, works a treat, even sprayed over the stickers

then car wax if you dont want and more stickers on
