Well, thanks for the advice on my first posting 21/3/09 people. Tis done.....collect the 1200GS on Monday! Bought from Dave ( true gent) through MCN, a fully loaded '54 plate bike that is a real credit to it's former owners and BMW manufacturing quality.
It's in for a dealer service next Thursday, purely in keeping with it's history, and I've fully replenished the "biker wardrobe". So a steady introduction to my roadcraft, after almost a two year lay-off, and roll on the next episode!
Oh, just managed to keep my full NCB by five days, so the insurance timing was perfect too.
Just one thing, how do you close a previous thread? Off to become a real Tosser now!!.......Mounty
