Future Classics that are cheap to buy now?

future classics

Has to be:

Early Fireblade, R1 and 916. All have to be mint and standard or at least be easily changed back to standard.

I'd have thought the R1100GS would have more chance of becoming a classic than the 1150? IMHO

I've a Ducati Paul Smart and i see there's 74 in the UK. I've the only one in NI.

Usable, reilable and I think less than 7 thousand made..It got to tick a few boxes for a future classic... Lets see what happens

A couple of bikes or three I had when they were current and wish I still had are an RG500 in the limited edition no.12 of 50,skoal bandit in green & white .I have the certificate and handbook . The other was a Honda CB1100R of which I still have the handbook and which is more like a manual than the usual thing you get.The final one was a Laverda RGS1000.:blast

Looking for a future classic? You could have my Yamaha SRX6 "project" for not a lot of beer tokens if you want :augie

I loved my K1. They were being touted as future classics years ago but it has never happened.

Time for an old Fart story :rob

In the late 80's I rode a tweaked and cut down 900 Ducati. every morning as I rode to Hinkley I used to pass a skinny blonde on a 500 Pantah coming the other way heading towards Leicester. Never did meet her, just waved most mornings for the best part of a year.

Old fart mode over.

a kinder man might say they "lack mass appeal".

If they could transpose the medical condition that is piles in the form of a motorcycle the Red K1 is it writ large.

And the blue version would be the varicose vein on the limb of an overweight 75 year old wheelchair bound septic legged diabetic..
