Hi All,

Has anybody fitted a fuzeblock or similar to the LC, ive just got a GSA and there is not a lot of room under the seats

Thanks in advance

Hi Bake, I got a fusebox from Nippy's and ended up sending it back as I was struggling to mount it neatly on to my bike, the later bikes with the ABS-pro have a module in the way under the rear seat, which makes things a bit tight, and regarding the front, I have the front seat on the low position which risked squashing the fuzeblock into the ECU.

However I think that there might have been just enough room with the seat on the high position.

I dare say that someone on here will have done it and the answer will arrive forthwith!

I fitted mine under the rear seat.

Many thanks chaps for the replies, will have a look at the YouTube video, mine has the abs module near the rear seat so won't go there,

Very nice video, and a tidy job, but the seat looks to be on the high setting, do check the clearence carefully if you run your seat on the low setting, as I'm pretty sure it will be a very close fit. :thumb2

Wise words! i'll do some measuring tonight, ive never had a bike with so little room under the seats

Fluffmeister, Fredaroony, thanks for the posts, quick question do your set ups have the self healing fuses? The Fuzeblock has replaceable fuses so would have to remove the tail section to change one, but if thats the only place i can fit it then so be it.

Had a Fuzeblock on my old GTR1400... have you considered the PDM60? It's a better option IMO, albeit more expensive. Not fitted one to my 2014 GSA LC yet but will do at some point.

Hi Stephen, unfortunately ive already bought the Fuzeblock but i could always send it back to NN as not yet opened.

Send it back and go for the PDM if nipster will take it back, much nicer bit of kit mate. It's very low profile to as you can see in the install pics from my thread

Very flexible, and you can reprogram it using the supplied USB cable. I ran a split of high amp wires and low amp wires and an earth bus. No fuses to mess around with if anything went wrong. I've just fitted one to the K1600 to run my heated gear from and some other bit's n bobs

Surprising on such a big bike that we are struggling to find suitable voids for additional little boxes. Put an Autocom into the equation and you are about stuffed for space.

Hello all I fitted one under the rear seat on a 14 plate gs , I have just got a 16 plat gsa and no chance of fitting it anywhere so I have ordered a innovv power hub 1, just waiting for the post man

If you still have the original battery fitted, it has a polystyrene spacer underneath it, you could either remove the spacer and use the space above the battery, or make a same sized box and mount the fuseblock under the battery in the box.

Looks like i'll be pulling the bike apart shortley, if no joy, Fuzeblock may be up for sale if NN wont take it back, quite like the look of the power hub 1, can i ask where you purchased it from Roadchefbob
