FWIW My new Zumo 550 FAILED

My two month old 550 (Aka Slack Alice, after a lost love) lost her voice on monday, no music, no bluetooth, and only used in car/truck to get used to her, so i returned her to Halfords (always buy Face to Face!) and was told she would be repaired, no way say I and after a heated discussion got a full refund. Is there a Fred where all fauults can be logged for prospective buyers? ie pros and cons of Tom Tom Rider et al.

lots of failures. i seem to remember reading in GPS section on here about their constant problems, and someone whom i cant remember said something to the effect that they are normally just changed by Garmin without so much as raised eyebrows. sorry I cant be of any more help but I really cant remember exactly where I have seen the thread other than under GPS

My Garmin 2820 failed after 2 months and was replaced by a brand new unit. ben tperfect for last 2 years.
