FYI Rang Dealer re Anual service (If yer bored dont open it)

Hi, as it says just for information.

My 2010 GSA is twelve months old on April 3rd, so I rang my Dealer to enquire about its anual service.

Was told that as I'd had my 6K service in August, the service light will not come on Aug. so unless I reach the next service interval of 12K miles before Aug 2011 leave it until then.

I asked if there would be any warranty issues and they replied no.

Maybe stating the obvious to some, but it sounds to me like an Eminently Sensible Dealer, unlike some of the stories I have read previously.

Like I said don't shoot the Info messanger

Hi bod, No real problems with any aspect of the bikes mechanical reliability, the only anoying thing being the fuel sensor/strip, having to be replaced on more than one occasion.
Had a cam timing issue recalled and done on the first service, no problem or inconvenience caused there either.

Overall so far I am very pleased, bang on the button every time

As for my Dealer, if I break cover on that one we'll both know who we are
