i am having trouble pairing the g4s
i have the power set with rider and pillion. the two sets pair to each other no problem.
when i connect the gps to one set it works fine but wont connect to the other set.so the gps will play through the rider headset but not the pillion. if i force it to pair to the gps(pillion) then it wont play through the riders?
this happens if i try the same with my iphone. so its not the gps or iphone, must be the headsets.
can anyone help?

I think you may be looking at that the wrong way round. Most phones/gps etc are only capable to pair with one item at a time.So your phone to rider ok but not to passenger at the same time.I might be wrong with this as i`m not yet into bluetooth headsets.

Chas820 is correct - you won't get it to pair to both rider and pillion at the same time. Most phones (in fact all that I know of) can only connect to 1 bluetooth device at a time.

Hi Oly,

I have same set up and exactly same issue  - i am using a BMW Nav which I believe is based on Garmin 660.

I've not found any solution, but am continuing to search.

I've actually just order another couple of Sys 6's with the BMW intercoms so am hoping that i won't have the same issue. But it's getting pretty expensive - at this rate i could have bought another bike :blast

Don't listen to him, he'll have you buying walkie-talkies and semaphore flags! :rob

Hi Oly

I have the following: Scala G4, Zumo 660 and Iphone 4.

I have it paired the following way: Scala to zumo, Iphone to zumo

I can then make it give me voice directions, phone calls and music to the headphones.

when this works it is great.......however this is dependent on the colour of socks, pants and whether I have been a good boy! It seems to me that it can really only deal with one device at a time!

Hope this helps

Mark

Hi Oly

It's not the fault of the headset, it is that of the Sat Nav as you can only have one headset paired to the Sat Nav at any one time, same applies to the Mobile Phone.
As yet no Mobile Phone or Sat Nav Manufacturer has added what is known as "Multipoint" Some Pantronics Bluetooth Mobile phone headsets have "Multipoint" this allows two Mobile phones to be connected at the same time.
The first Sat Nav or Mobile phone Manufacturer to adopt this will be on a winner, as yet no one has.
Regards

Richard
