Send a recorded delivery letter to BMW finance and state that after a set date you will be expecting interest to be added to your money due to their constant delaying tactic on releasing your money.

Don't worry went through all this when I bought a new Honda CBF1000 a couple or so years ago....never will buy a new Honda again...manufacturers just don't get it, do they?

Took rather a long time though due to BMW Finance policy of getting dealer buying the bike to issue a cheque to me, as opposed to BMW Finance issuing a cheque.
Dealer reluctant to issue cheque until they have received the used vehicle finance from BMW HQ, and can take up to 3 weeks. Dealers generally don't use their own cash to keep stock - they borrow it.
Add some false timescales from BMW Finance into the mix too.
All rather odd and made things rather messy.
But we got there in the end.

Nope. But many folks do, along with those that think that car rental companies actually own the cars they rent out blah blah blah.
Trouble is I went out and bought another frikkin BMW. Was going to get a KTM690 Enduro R, until I found out the price of them. Then found a bargain 650X Challenge for sale...which has turned out to be a bloody good bike so far. Its officially a keeper!
