Hi,

I have just placed a wanted ad` for a larger/sturdier sump guard to fit my XChallenge, just thought i would cross post it on here as well.

Please give me a shout if you are thinking of selling anything suitable.

They're not hard to find. Touratech make three, a normal one, a large and a huge one with storage. All in 4mm alloy which is surprisingly sturdy for them... of course they're all supplied with a half a fitting kit and the half you get will only fit a 1200 touring screen.
I'm having one built myself but mine will be taller to give protection upwards towards the rad and will have extra stuff which might not suit everyone.

Thanks for your esponse ARMA, i do realise that they are available to order, i was just trying to save a few pennies by advertiing for a secondhand one before i hit the credit card with a new one.

Dwaine, there was a group buy on here from a guy in Germany who made an excellently priced unit made to the highest standard, I did purchase one of the units and it has received some seriously big hits and saved the lower cases from certain damage.

They are the bollocks, and alot cheaper than the Touratwat expensive imitations.....

Hi Timpo,

I remember that group buy, it was around the time I sold my first XChallenge to a member of this parish, and didn't think I would have need for one. But I realised the error of my ways in selling it not too long after, hence me now equipping another replacement XChallenge.
