G650 X-Challenge 2 up?

Hi guys,

I know it isn't technically a GS... But I've seen that there is a kit available to add rear pegs and grab handles to the G650 X-Challenge.

Does anyone know what the bike is like 2up? Thinking of investing in one, but need to be able to carry the Mrs too - every now and again!

Any advice or info welcome!!

I dont think the bike will like it 2 up ,there's an air shock ,which can be hard to set up , moreso 2 up. I would not think of taking anyone on the back of my KTM 450 exc and I 'd feel the same about a XC 650.get a road Focused Bike or a GS 650/800

XC two-up, no, not the best. The rear part of the seat is a razor.
As Robbo says, the airshock will be a pest having to increase the air load to suit your lass.
Put your money to a nice 650GS Dakar. Same engine, good road manners and ability for trail riding, excellent looks and the rear set is very wide and comfortable.

get a dakar,the x challenge isnt comfy one up !
i have been all round south africa on a dakar two up. what a great machine,comfortable and capable.
