Up for sale is my X-Country, 10,254 miles but with the sun shining it might increase!
It's been set up for trail riding but done very little of this I believe, the previous owner (of this parish) bought it for his camper and hardly used it, other than his mate doing 3k miles touring on it when his GS failed.

I'll try to list the extras
Screen ( not sure the make)
Screen extender
Touratech handguards
Heated grips
Improved clutch cover
Brake reservoir protector
Sprocket protector
Heavy duty sump guard
Rectifier guard
Touratech gear lever
Fender extender
LEO VINCE exhaust (not too loud just a nice burble)
GS1200 mirrors
TKC 80 tyres (rear getting due for change)
Hepco and becker rack
There's probably more but that should give you a feel for it.

Looks very tidy apart from chips on the wheels but not noticeable from 6ft away and its a trail bike really, so to be expected!

Sat nav not included!

5 previous owners which for 19yrs old is not bad, I've had it 2 years.
Mot July 23rd, should fly through

Fancying a change after really enjoying this, I'm always, searching for my absolute ideal bike but not found it yet so ready to change.

£2995.00
Possible deal for it without all the extras if preferred.
Located Penrith, Cumbria

Looks like my old bike….
If it is I fitted the aluminium bash plate, sprayed black, along with the touratech protection on the port hand side, bought from Johnny Boxer.
I also fitted the rack and had the seat retailored by Tony Archer with more foam added.
I bought it unseen from a chap in Sterling with about 800 miles on the clock.

Looks like it’s got the genuine BMW XCountry screen too

As I mentioned,I bought this bike from the first owner who lived in Stirling, he had bought it for his girlfriend, the reason I mention this is to my knowledge this is not an off road school bike.

Thanks for that, the reg is TF07UDN but I think it was on a private plate for a bit?
I didn't know the off road school used the X-Co previously

This is my old bike and it was absolutely brilliant. As the seller said my mate rode it for 3 weeks around Norway after his GS1200 lunched its engine. It performed without a hitch and was probably the best bike to do the trip on compared to the 1290 KTMs and GSs that the rest of us were riding. Unfortunately it was too heavy to go on the back of my replacement motorhome (I've now got a Suzuki Address 110 due to weight limits!!) hence the reason for selling. I would have happily got on the bike and ridden anywhere.
The screen and mounting bracket is a BMW accessory item designed for the X-Country. The gearchange lever is a must do mod for anyone thinking of buying one of these bikes. The original is too strong and can snap a transmission shaft if the bike is dropped in certain circumstances.
Good luck with the sale, anyone buying this will be getting a fantastic bike!
