Has anybody worked out the maximum tank range possible on a G650 Xcountry?

A rough calculation based on the consumption of the 650gs:
If I've worked it out right 'and this is where it could all go horribly wrong
' the gs is doing 16+ mls/ltr (67.5ish mpg)The G650 series have a nine ltr tank. So 9x16 = 144 miles to the tank.
I reserve the right to be compleatly innept in the practicle use fo a calculator. (oh, and I'm not sure I can spell either)

are you going to be off road ????
went on the bmw course on one of these and they filled them up every day also they said max is about 70 to the tank but depends what your doing i suppose.

Erm....
Did I read somewhere that a firm such as TT or HPN were already working on a larger capacity fuel cell for the X-Challenge? I can't remember where it was, and I think the new tank was to have a £1000 price tag.
I'm sure a nice Aluminium one could be knocked up for far less.
I am still very keen on a XC650 to do some green laning on, but have noticed more and more coverage of the 450 Enduro model, maybe a small wait......
