g650gs sertao start up issue

Did a few trails on wednesday and a ride up north and since then the start up on my sertao has changed. Basically when you turn the ignition usually the lights illuminate and the speed dial activates and you start the bike. The issue now is that once the ignition is engaged the lights and speedo check can take up to 4 se conds to activate, in addition the speedo hand flickers a little and you can hear some clicking, similar I guess to if it has a flat battery but there is no hesitation at all with the engine start. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas.

We're the trails particularly wet? Just wondering if you've got water into the fuses/relays that are behind the headstock below the battery tray.

Yeah I did have a deep crossing so that might be what's happened . Worth a check
