G650X country v Yam XT600

are there any owners/former owners of both the g650x country & the yamaha xt600 around who could give me an experienced comparison of both? I'm not interested in off road, just urban - the reason both appeal is their thin, tall, light, torquey format make them ideal for my mainly city use.

Also, can anyone forecast the g650X depreciation? Ive started to see bikes for sale from the low 3's, wondering if they'll be in the 2.5k range after another 2-3 years?

Prices for Xc

The Xcountry prices are still hovering a couple of hundreds above the 3K mark for a 07 plate, but these are dealer prices with the extras, for instance theres an 07 on ebay currently one bid at £2500 so privately they are available for less and a lot of bike for the money.
