I've got to engrave a watch with 'forever in my heart'

The guy has given me 'Go siorai i mo chroi'

Question is, He has handwritten the text and he has added a slash/accent(?) over both the lower case 'i' in 'siorai' are they accents or could they just be sloppy handwrighting, he has certainly put a dot over the lone 'i' but it appears to be back to an accent on the 'i' in 'chroi'

What is right?

Hoping for a quick reply as the guy in comming in at lunchtime to collect

Ah well many thanks for all your help, but it appears I have wasted your time, i can't seperate the strap or remove the back so its a no go till he can get that sorted.

I'd have more of a go myself but the watch is a bit special, its has white gold case with thirty or so diamonds encrusted around the front and the dial has ruby chips set in to mark the numbers, its a 'big buck' watch and i'm quite glad to delay the proceedings a little. The guy commissioned the watch for his missus and forgot to get it engraved by the maker

BTW One diamond has already fallen out of its setting (not my fault i must add)
