Gaining more power....but not to much.

BTW, a fuel pressure regulator from the K1200/1300 fits, and raises the system to 3.5 bar which gives a snappier throttle response. Suspension, wheel/tyre, and braking improvements are also more worthwhile than some engine work IMO. I have Hyperpros, alloy wheels and bigger front discs.
Hey Paul, with regards to upping the fuel regulator as you mentioned, is there a certain year i have to look out for or just any that just fit the k1200/1300 as ill get one off the bay and put it in my kit of things to do when ive next got the tank off. cheers

The airbox also has to come out, ISTR, to get access to the FPR housing. I had it fitted by RGM when he fitted some new valve stem seals for me. I don’t believe they changed the FPR anytime during the K1200R lifespan, so just pick one but I’d speak to Motorworks for reassurance.

Cool guys, there's one on flebay for £25 for that price worth having in then spares box for when I am having a fettle it's nice just getting these little extra bits that make things a little bit special

Got one from a K1200 rs looks identical to the gs original so that should be good to go, assuming easy enough to get access to and change, under air box I think I read, saying that it's always the simple jobs that cause the most heart ache sometimes 🤣 I was adjusting them clutch arm once and the socket fell down in-between the swing arm pivot and was the exact size and could not get it out, 2 hours layer with lots.of swearing tie wraps, magnets and cardboard it was removed 🤣

You’re always only one snapped bolt away from that 30min job taking at least 3 days…🤣
