Hi
I use my bike for commutting, and usually wear jeans and my bike boots at work. My problem is that even with no rain and a wet surface you get your jeans wet from the knee to the top of the boot.
Yes I hear you say wear your waterproofs, granted this would work but being a lazy man I thought that it being only from the knee to the top of the boot that needs waterproofing.
I have thought of gaiters which can stretch from above knee to the boot and can be zipped at the rear, no need for pulling leggings over boots and back over boots to remove, and easily stored at work.
Any other lazy or not so lazy people considered this or even tried this approach?? I have read that some skiers would like this so they can kneel without getting their knees wet!
Any views appreciated...
