Galway Blood Bikers

..... and the Dublin Blood Bikes will be launched early next year :thumb2

At the launch of the Blood bike east (Dublin) the organisers said the standard needed would be ROSPA Gold or Silver. In the Galway unit its Gold only. So why the difference ? A lack of consistency between the groups. Whats the UK standard ?

Think that was the public information night at the Red Cow Luke, couldn't make it myself but was talking to one of the guys at our IART AGM on Tuesday night and I think the feeling is that RoSPA silver is quite a high standard for what the riders will be doing.

They can only ride with blue lights on while under Garda escort and as the service is 7pm to 7am they may never need an escort.

Not sure what the required standard in the UK is??

Pigs will fly before a civillian is allowed to ride a bike with flashing blue lights. You are correct, it was the information / sign up night.
