How cool is that, they take photo's of their bits on your bedroom carpet, and then post it on their website :bow :bow

I know lots of sites where people take pictures in the bedrooms and post them on the internet :augie

Of course this is not one of them. :D

Anyway things are progressing, got the bodywork and guards back from the painters and all now fitted to the bike. :thumb

I'm biased here but combined with the Acerbis brush guards (half the price of TT guards, same manufacturer but without the TT badges) I'm well pleased with the result. :bounce1:bounce1:bounce1

Really getting into these airheads. Of course I'm spoiled having a pair of PD's but for those non PD moments there's always this. :blast

Well spotted :thumb

Calipers are off the Gambia bike being cleaned as I'm fitting a new set of brake hoses. The other bike will be having it's second caliper fitted over the holidays using the brake lines from the Gambia bike.

Complicated or what :D

So what did you do on Chrimbo Eve?

Well I spent an hour or two with thefreshly painted HPN tank and the cheap decals from Italian Ebay.

Of course the tank had been allowed to cure for awhile and I have not fitted the original BMW side foils until I get the tank fitted to the bike with the elusive tank fitting kit but the result so far are pleasing to me to say the least! :drool

Lets see what the audience think :augie :D

they look lovely. what hoses do you use, do you split one into two or get a different master cylinder and does it actually stop now with twin discs. been driving around quite bit briskly recently and it really would be better if i could stop when i want.:augie

Stop? Dear Gawd yes it stops with the twin disks! The bike which I call The Gambia bike came with a fully operational twin disk set up using a 15mm brake cylinder instead of the O/E 13mm feeding a splitter which then fed two lines down to the calipers.

The other bike came with twin calipers but only the original right side connected.

I contacted Venhill engineering and sourced a new splitter and lines with all fittings in stainless for the Gambia bike and intend to fit it's system to the other bike (confusing isn't it :augie).

More than happy to post the final specification for lines and components if it would be of interest, just let me know. :thumb
