Garfield...it's time we came clean about Morocco....it's rubbish!

The amount of roadworks you come across to repair even the most minor damage is farcical....it makes for very tedious riding indeed.

In fact, that road was so over-developed that we decided to ride down the river (quite literally :augie) for the next 6 miles to avoid it :D

Nobody enjoyed that at all!!:augie

And then there is this the friendly service of your tour guide ... the nights are long and the goats run faster than a tosser .... :ymca

Now all is made plain.

This is why men go to Morocco in groups and ride out into empty spaces to play:ymca

Probably explains why they do the 'Dash' aswell, frustration makes them want to get there quicker for the fun....

Although I don't realy know why we bothered...it didn't go anywhere interesting or anything :(

Just more rocks and stuff :nenau

whats in the water???he came down on a green bike then fell in and it turned the bike blue and his gear orange:eek

I feel it only fair to warn you about the enormous wild beasts and dangerous killer insects that roam unchecked....this massive fellow was lying cunningly in wait to ambush our party under a rock a mere 40 feet from the track!!

We had a truly lucky escape !

Measuring almost as long as the bike, he would no doubt have laid several regiments of the marines low quite easily

Shortly after that photo was taken, an even bigger scorrpion jumped out and knocked poor Peter clean off his KTM, before repeatedly stinging him.......it's a dangerous place!!

Another bad thing...no matter how smart you look and how well matched you are in your his and hers armoured suits, there's always some ginger twat who seems to lurk to deliberately spoil the photograph...it's outrageous I tell you!!

These people obviously don't take anything seriously! :(

The supermarkets went on strike as well, and there was nothing tasty to eat anywhere!

I'm pretty sure you're going to have an bad time Paul, the boring roads, the crap scenery, the rough tracks and the lack of any decent facilities.
I hope you won't find it too awful though, and I hope you can forgive me for the hardship and degradation that you'll suffer. :)

It seems rather pointless to say this now that everyone knows how rubbish Morocco really is, but we do have places left on the trailer (or indeed to ride down to Malaga to join us on the start of the trip) in April......I'm afraid you'll have to just put up with the sort of things in these photographs, but heck, life's tough isn't it :D

I'm on 077 9595 4449 or the office number is 0845 257 7812, or email me at
[email protected] or PM me :)

You lucky, luck sod. You're going to have SUCH a good time...

just pulling the paperwork together for the journey right now, need to sort out bike insurance and travel insurance tomorrow (plus some photocopying to do) and then it's a few odds and sods to buy and start the packing on Friday coming (I want to be better organised than normal....:blast).....:D

No, he's not a scatter brain. It's just that he prefers taking folk to places they've never been to than boring shite like where the next hotel is. Sounds daft but it works. :thumb2

Paul...the revised version of the Trip Guide should be up tomorrow with route tips, locations of the hotel, kit essentials etc.

I'll also upload a couple of Garmin files for people to grab with routes and WP's on it.
