Help needed,i am a complete techno numpty.
I have seen a garmin 2610 that has european mapping etc it has never been used.
It has a 1gb memory card.
Is this enough to carry all the european mapping,if not any idea of cost to increase to sufficient memory.
Also do you have to purchase some form of autocom to be able to hear it or is there another way.
Thanks for any help

It's so easy to download the maps, why not just download the maps for the countries you're going to as and when you need them? If you want to be extravagant, chuck in a couple of adjoining countries just in case you fancy a bit of a blat
but lets be blunt the chances are you're unlikely to need all of Europe at any one time. I think with my card, I just removed the maps around the Arctic circle and worked down till I got to about 2Gb, because I hadn't planned on going to the Arctic circle in the next few weeks.
