Hi guys,

Sorry to throw this one out but am curious if anyone else has had this problem. I recently got a Garmin Zumo 400 from my wife and bought a SD card to have some music while I was driving. So after buying an 8GB card I then copied my music over. However the Garmin just wont locate it, even though it can locate the images that go with the albums. Is it that I am not giving it enough time to load up or is there a limit to how many MP3s should be on it for it to work properly? It has once found the tracks and they played but as soon as I turned it off they were gone again!

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I know there's a limit of 1000 tracks / folders but don't know if this causes it not to see them.

The tracks are in MP3 format aren't they? Nothing else AFAIK will do.

No dont have em in a folder marked MP3 will put them in there and see if that makes all the difference :)

Just read the section recommended and see where my problem lies! Really appreciate the advice again :)

Thanks

They don't have to be in a folder called MP3, but they need to be broken into subfolders, for instance one per album. Even then, the Zumo needs to be on for a minute or so for it to register that they're there.
