The 590 won't fit in the BMW cradle. Has anyone fitted an alternative mount on a 1200R-LC ?. If so what mount and how ?.

Logically, there is no reason why you cannot fit many / all alternative cradles to any motorcycle.
How it's done will vary according to the bike and the mount.
