Garmin GPS V USB Cable ????

I've just got a laptop but it hasn't got a 9-pin serial port thingie,
is there a USB lead available for my GPS V ?

I can't help regarding your Garmin, but I CAN tell you that you can get USB to serial port adaptors for laptops. Belkin make them (along with others). Knowing how much Garmin charge for leads the USB to serial adaptor will probably be cheaper !!!!

Not all brands will work with GPS but Belkin will

Note; upload speed will still be the same slow speed restricted by the GPS V

With the updated drivers from the webbpage this one works with GPS V:

I've got a new Gps usb mouse you can have for 20 quid inc postage. V. accurate - got me walking at 2mph. I don't need as later bought a pda.

Paid 40 quid last month on ebay
