Garmin GPSMAP 62 (new)

I was about to buy a GPSMAP 60Csx but then I noticed it looks like this updated model is coming out soon.

Probably worth the wait? Or hope the 60Csx goes down in price a little?

Several times you were told, but the light was not on or so it appears ?

GPS MAP62 shall have its own *new* cradle .. and the cradle, RAM-HOL-GA12 (for GPS 60) does *not* fit, once again for the hard of understanding .. it does *not* fit, OK !

apparently there was a review of it in one of the walking mags recently, I believe it does do OS maps but whether that means it needs to be Garmins OS discovery mapping or you could send the Memory maps stuff to it, I'm not too sure

Got mine - rock solid mount - didn't expect it to be that good

I have the 62s for months but never used it as I didn't want to damage it with a DIY mount - of course just before I fitted it I let a chain drop on the Garmin - cracked screen
You hardly notice it when it's on but it's annoying.

Is there anyone that fixes the screens?

Sent them a mail when as soon as it happened - no reply yet.

But no doubt they'll charge an arm and a leg to do it - I was hoping for a 3rd party that either supplies the parts or better carries out the work themselves.
