Garmin i3 POI & camera data base

My mate has the Garmin i3. Does any one know where he can get the speed camera data base from and any other free sites for this model

PS is it easy to down load these and how do you know you have the correct down load for each model. I might have a go with my Quest

I just bought an i3 and tried to download safety camera info from this site. However it seems I need Mapsource program to do this. I have not been able to download that successfully from the Garmin site even tho I registered my i3 there and have unlock code. It starts to download but will not open as it says 'no existing Mapsource found' or something similar. (Does the i3 not qualify for access to Mapsource??)

What stupid mistake am I making? All help welcomed!

try this

programed loads of these for speedcamera, try turning unit off, remove memory card, and refit then try again. Worked for me on one unit that would not transfer... regards nick

Nick...I think the problem is more baisic than that...I cannot access Mapsource at all. Have you been able to do that with what came with your i3?
