I have one of these - it is used by me when I am out on the bike, by my kids when they are climbing/hillwalking and by my Mrs when she is out running in places with little or no phone signal.
Super reassuring to have it available - and makes it a lot easier to find my body when I don't come back one day

My general detail when I go out of the door for a bike ride is "probably North" - which can include quite a wide area - including the South...
