You can’t beat a good map. My favourite is the IGN map of the RDGA.
I will test it. The free trial did not include the Tom Tom routable maps so I emailed their customer support and they immediately added them, so it bodes well so far.@Berin
I'd welcome your take on the planning software
(aka be my guinea pig)
Might download the trial - 30 days should be enough to test it V our old BC which still works ok.

The thing basecamp did so well was the ability to mix routeable with drawn tracks.
It was even better when it was integrated with Google Earth.
I will report back, but not till after return from Spain, the trip being made easier by those Templar and parador waypoints you created- thanks again for that
That app does have access to IGN maps
Garmin Tread ( XT2 and XT3) works fab for route planning ;
