Garmin nuvi 205 Mount on a 650 GS Dakar

Hi all,

I am thinking of trying to adapt my Garmin 205 Nuvi (not widescreen) to my Dakar.

Any recommendations on a decent waterproof mount? and also what is the best way to supply the power to it? 12v socket adaptor? (I think the Garmin is 5v)?

If anyone has done this before If you could offer some advice and pics it would be highly appreciated.

Simplest RAM-HOL-GA24 with RAM-B-149Z or 149ZA with poweroo from www.locatis.eu to power it.

Weatherproof then look at GoMount or Arkon GPS zip pouch bith from www.buybits.com. GoMount has strap to go around handlebar or can be adapted with RAM ball (RAM ball on Arkon case as well).
