Garmin Smartphone link on Nav 4?

As per the title - I'm enquiring for a friend who has a nav 4 and likes the look of the Garmin Smartphone app I use on my phone.

Any ideas if it will work with the Nav 4 / 660?

Only Nav V & other newly released Garmin models I think.
