Does anybody know if Garmins Navigation/mapping software will run on a PDA (Acer n30)?

I sold the 2610 I had unused. I felt that whilst it would give me the mapping its road navigation (no postcode) was a bit dated (JMO).

I currently run TomTom 6 on my PDA but also would like to run something like the Garmin City Nav along side or on a separate SD card. Is this possible??

I have seen that Garmin do a mega £££ PDA ready to go but not sure if its got the PC mapping or happy with the price.

Anybody know whats what out there?

Cheers

You can use Garmin Que software on a PPC but you usually need to use some kind of spoofing software like GPSProxy to get Que to talk to your GPS.

GPSProxy is free from here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/gpsproxy/

You just need to use it to map the port your PPC is using to talk to your GPS to one that Que wants to use. It's a bit of a fiddle to get working but once you do it's OK. Havent tried CityNav but the Topo maps work fine.
