Garmin V Mapsource, Help please

Just opened the sealed packet with my Garmin V, Mapsource European City Select, is this right?.
Can't load onto PC, Message reads " An error occured during the data move process"
Anyone had trouble?

I'm not aware of anyone having trouble loading Mapsource. Is the CD unmarked and clean and is your CD drive working happily with other CDs? Disk space may be another issue.

I've installed to 98 SE and XP PCs without any problems.
