And if it is what is a good price for one these days now its been super seeded! Looked to me like a good piece of kit. I don't need colour but maybe I do need the memory.. Comments please on wether or not I could get a V instead of the newer stuff...
and I would recommend it to anyone who is not travelling too far too often. If you are a Trans European traveller who wakes up in the morning in Belgium and decides you would like to take breakfast in St Tropez - the GPS V is not for you because it has limited map storage capacity. If however you take a few trips away now and again but the rest of the time stay in and around your local region the map capacity is more than adequate. I have about 2/3rds of Belgium installed in detail and this is good enough until I want to go to Germany or Holland. This means thinking ahead and uploading the maps the evening before. If you can stretch to the SPIII do it - you get colour , much more memory , audio and I think it recalculates and works out routes quicker.
